well, Evilmina is back and back she is. In vivid color somemore. Got to love her and ooo her sidekick/poodle Marc. They do make a cute evil duo.

Like i said who can top that? LL appeared like 10 secs as 'mean girl' was ok.

But Naomi on the other hand is fantastic. Without spoiling for everyone, you got to watch Naomi as Naomi in the finale episode. Candy shop! (pic)

gosh! i thought when they dethrone Queen B, it was the end of s1 but NO... few more episodes (post strike) to end s1 and they were ---- needless to say lah, they were effing great. New crazy gal appear trying to mess with S and one word: dun mess with B. (ok! 4 words)

I was youtubing, watching various programmes on utube - for those living in caves; Utube got loads ( i mean loads) of videos ok. So one after another, i saw the name: Carol Vonderman- the maths genius.

yes yes! unlike the other maths genius who hmm...how shall i say this without offending hos' escorts or service gals out there, who gave private maths tuition or giving out formulae while pleasuring her customers. well done! at least she still remember them. Little Britain USA...

It's coming! It's coming! yes but not but yes! Little Britain USA is coming to HBO (US) very very soon, and I can't wait man!

I am talking about our favourite characters in Little Britain, the aboard edition saw them traveling to various countries, but the long awaited USofA version had already started it's live studio taping on 22/05/08 and that only means one thing. yes yes!!! They have done most if not ALL their outdoor scenes.

YEAH!!!! so post production to follow and if all goes to plan, it will debut in US this fall.

A Vintage Rose Moment...

How's everyone feeling? How's ya weekend?

if i dun post this now, i dun know when, cos i'm swamped with work in the office. Madness! So much till i need an extra pair of hands, actually make it 2 more. Changes upon changes. Well, i don't blame the client as they just got thrown into the deep end too and without revealing too much and boring you...they are our client no 2, cos client no 1 left. So now, they want to change here and there. Fair enuf. So now it's all up to me, to revise and me being me, i tend to complicate things. arghhh.... So i change and change and change.

we went to celebrate our hallo kitty lover, Mag's belated 30. yes! welcome to our box! haha! embrace it with a smile!

got a text from her one week earlier about her do and we started scratching our balls head, Wat to get for her? I cant just buy her 2 boxes of agar-agar mix, or can I?

So we went to her favorite shop in town to get her a dress. hope u like it yo! Remember if it doesn't fit or if u dun like, can exchange, no problem. U are a VIP member so it's ok, as the saleslady said. (btw, her name is Rain-i'm not kidding)

We also watched PR 4 finale. OMG! All 3 finalists' works are fantastic, i must say. ok, one of them are not cohesive but still look good individually, while the runner up who could well be the winner too, if not for the guest judge - i think! Of course it's major fierce!!! congrats Christian.

some may criticize that the acting might be OTT (which is true from Liza), or the theme might be similar to the American shows, but i have to say: still it's 100% entertaining. FUNNY!

feedback...

yup...that's the latest single from the fabulous Janet.

actually, not so new as the video & song been playing on the radio/tv (or the lack of it)

For me, it's so-so only. Despite 'leaking it' to the internet before its official release and a big shoutout by Perez, it's not only doing so-so on the airplay and is already starting to fall off the charts.

When i first listened to it few weeks back, i was not hooked instantly like her previous works. Plus the title 'feedback' itself, to me, just sounded so wrong. I dunno. Is she running a questionnaire? is she asking us for something? and somehow everytime i hear word 'feedback', it reminded me of this.

yes...those who watched the game/reality show that is so bad it's funny: who wants to be a superhero? yup...the winner alter-ego/character is called ...Feedback.

Dun ask me what's his superpower cos i haven't got a clue. All i remember was his facial expression in the series: just look very serious. yeah...

and coincidently, in the video, Janet dressed up like in a S&M gear/superhero-ish coming from the moon miming, dancing and poking/avoiding bubbles. Just not gooood, and not helping the song 'visually' in any way at all. click here for the video.

wanna blog abt my yoga practice and about how being yoga has been to me, as last night was the last yoga class for 2007. tat itself deserves a post...right!

but with the activities around me or the lack off, i dunno how or what to write anymore. Like Scarlet always said, just feeling uninspired-hence no updates. Speaking of which, GET WELL SOON. yes! lemsip-up. ok!

anyway...will post abt yoga when i feel the ommms in me as at the mo, me catching up with the Upper East Siders, and Project Runway 4. And soooooon the Walkers family- watched S2 epi 1 and i tell you, OMG...All of us should have faith.

Watched the Golden Horse Awards -金馬獎 last Saturday night (Taiwan's Oscar equivalent) live on TV. Like all award shows, it's loooong and half most of the thank Qs, i dunno even know who. Also i have not even watched most of the nominated movies including the big winner of the night: Lust, Caution. Man! where can i get hold of the unedited version. where?

Not gonna go through every single moments of the show or winners. for the full list of winners, click here. But what i wanna share with you guys for those did not catch it; some reaaaaally good and funny moments- shall i say, highlights of the night.

presenting the Male Actor...

Sandra Wu (one of my fav. and funniest actress in this world) with Ang Lee.



Guess wat happen? She said (quoting the paper) Ang Lee wished to present the award to Tony Leung personally. So she went and tore the envelopes to pieces straight away without opening it. yes! she tore them. hahah!!! Brilliant... fantastic...now who else can do that. who who who??? i have never seen it done like EVER before in any awards show. And check out Ang Lee's expressions: Priceless.

performances of the night:

Kelly Chen did a so-so 60's performance medley, wat was she doing? she looked out of place and lost. Karen Mok & Leo Ku did another boring medley of classic songs.

The 2 highlights for the night: a japanese magican did his card tricks on stage with volunteers: Aaron Kwok & Sandra Wu. Amazing...

Second was this young chap, Jam Hsiao (當蕭敬), whom i do not know or heard before this, till that evening, and his voice is simply breath-taking. No joke. He performed all the nominated songs of the night, and my god...

After googling his name, he is only 20 year old and yet to release his debut album. He first appeared on the Taiwan talent show called Million Star and since then gathered a huge followers. He even managed to do a duet with Amei on her latest album. I tell you, he is gonna be Huge.

the Walkers...

yes!!! finished watching the whole series of the turbulent yet tightknit Walker family, i now fully understand what's all the buzzes and raves about. I too urge you guys & dolls to watch it too. The storyline & script (dialogues) are all cleverly written and the relationship between the bros & sis are at times crazy, chaotic but somehow you feel for the family. Kudos to the director and production team for creating the warm feel to the show. It's all about family: relationships, up & downs, finding comfort, and values.

However, is it just me, maybe, while watching the show, i cant help but find Kevin Walker (CNN of the family) aka

Once u start...

yes guys & dolls...how's ya weekend? mine was good and last night started watching Bros & Sis. Yes! i know...i'm a slow starter, as friends been raving abt the show and i can see why. (pic) I'm loving kitty walker, nora walker, kevin walker, tommy walker, justin walker, sara walker, karen walker...wait...the last one is in a different show but still love her and the walker clan. Watched 2.5 discs straight i.e. 8 episodes back to back. It's GOOOOOD and did not zzz till 2am. so if the lack of posts this week or coming weeks cos i'm addicted with the walker clan. plus i also got a backlog of series to watch: Project Runway 4, Heroes 2, Ugly Betty 2, How I met your mama 3, Gossip Girls and yes! Bros & Sis 2. All ready in my hardrod.

ooo...Nigella is coming to Astro this coming week. Yeah!

a bit of nip & a bit of tuck...

finally finished watching nip/tuck season 4 and i must say, it's so much better than season 3 - which based the whole show on the carver only. (pic)

why better? the (dark ugly crazy) plot twist / the characters' sexuality / the music / the nudity (almost every episodes) / the guest stars appearance / the writing / the finale

wat they need now is a lounge singer haha (ala ally mcbeal style). I love the ending/finale where everyone yes! ALL the characters in the show lip sync-ed to The Submarines's Brighter Discontent. And guess wat? The lyrics totally worked, together with the character's emotional portrayal. The last time i saw scene like this was in Ally McBeal.

one particular episode that really stood out (and trust me, there are a few) for me is where the story is fast forwarded into the future, where Sean's son- Connor becomes a teenager. At the beginning, i wonder wat happened? did i missed something? But no, cos you get the sensed that it's the future. And using the 'future' to continue the 'current' story line. Could be slightly confusing but smart writing. (pic)

ps. The Submarines's Brighter Discontent is currently in rodpod's heavy rotation list. Too bad, youtube deleted the clip. Shame! Apparently requested by the show's producer.

all about brunei...

yes...it's here. finally, i found the clips courtesy of the famous youtube. wat the hos?

its all about our brunei. as previously posted, the travelogue series had finally aired in HK(TVB), so now we get to watch it cos someone kindly posted in youtube. yeah! So hope you guys enjoy it. There are 5 parts to the series so far, hopefully the last part will be posted soon. CLICK HERE >>>

when i say about our brunei, it's more like covering HM's 60th Birthday & empire hotel. For the former, the crew went to the royal regalia, padang & even got access to the istana. (part 1 & 2) and my god! the function and banquet is lavish. GOLD GOLD GOLD. Everything you see that is GOLD, well, it's 22 or 24K Gold. Dun play play hor!for the latter part, (3,4 &5), the crew went to Empire. It's an eye opener for me. MY GOD again! The queen suite and the Royal suite. Layers after layers, doors after doors, before you get to the bedroom, secret or royal access lift, and ooo...the swimming pool in the suite. Dun forget the view! Wow! Did you guys know the atrium's columns could well be the highest in asia? hmm? and each one cost a bomb! again, dun play play...

In the programme, the host reflected on power, dreams (of becoming a king), the ho-has a king will or might face, & money. I have my very own personal thoughts or views on one striving for fame, then money, then power. Wat do want from all this? Is money everything? Is money 'money'? Next time lah, enuf of me blah...

Your Jolliness, maybe u have (I dunno la), cos you watched more TVB series than me and have so many outlet or sources. I only just found out (after much googling & sitehopping), the TVB travelogue on Brunei is called “輯向世界出發 2” (On the road 2), and will be airing soon in HK. In fact, this is their second series airing on the on 12^th of March 2007, and their first episode will be showcasing our Abode of Peace. Yes that’s next week! So can’t wait to watch it myself.

Unfortunately for us, we just have to wait a bit longer when the video arrives in Brunei or someone posts in the famous youtube haha! So I dunno where you have seen or watched it previously. Maybe preview clips or deva-ju??? Check out the preview in my video site.

as seen on...

Probably some of you guys know or seen it before, but i have not. So for those who have not watch it before, enjoy!!! wat the ho wat the ha? u asked?

last year, during HM 60th birthday, a crew sent by HK TVB came over to our abode of peace for a travel program or that's wat i was told. Yet to the see the program or clip. Shld be interesting, finger crossed! I cant help but wonder, which other countries TV crew came over to do a travel programme or documentary? Animal planet? Discovery?

Latest i heard or read in the paper is Taiwan; as our local celebrity (part of a boy group) is trying to get access or permission to film a drama series here. Speaking of which, he is currently back home doing a TV special. Yup all the crew from Taiwan are here at the mo. Accordingly to 2 reliable sources, (haha!) he did an interview session in one of the local hang out place and last night did another one in his cousin's house, whom our Kathy went to catch a glimpse.

Coincidentally, while we are having our farewell dimsum last week, he and his posse were all sitting next to our table dining and chatting. Couple of locals tried to have a picture taken with him but was declined by him and his posse.

Anyway, as i was saying earlier, a travel programme by the Beep came over and visited a few known tourist spots. They even visited the palace - brillant timing as it's open house, or say i say open palace time. The hostess even had a brief conversation with Her Majesty during the hand-shaking moment; which can be heard in the clip. So do check it out in my video site.

Got to say, it felt kinda good seeing our little quiet country being feature in some travel programme. Ok, there might not be many places to visit or things to do ( i know some Bruneian might differ on this), but to see Brunei in overseas TV and being introduced to other parts of the world is a good thing and sometimes give me a buzz. Big Up our very own Land of Hidden Treasures!!! She needs all the help she can get. If only everyone get their act together and be more relax about things around.

wat a nite...

Went to the last yoga class for the month and also nora's last class as she will be away for 12 days on an ashtanga 'course' (which i so wanna go and it's also one of 101 project). Before class i did a couple of inversions - practice practice practice as they say rite. Worked quite a bit of sweat, and in tonite class we played with balls. Yes! you heard me or read it correctly. Those big grey or blue balls used in aerobic classes. Yup! we used those towards the end of the class for some core muscles workout. Interesting.

Then watched the premiere episode of 'Heroes', it's good! All the characters have their own story to tell and with some supernatural powers of their own; and they somehow interwine each other's life one way or another. Brillant. So there are some extraordinary ppl among us huh, like X-men? Cant' wait to see the next episode, so Wed nites from now on will be reserved for Heroes. Gimme more!!!

If you could have a superpower, wat would you guys & dolls wish or want? I thought about it and i really dun mind having the tele-port power. Just imagine, able to transport yourself from one place to another, one city to another, one country to another, wow! free air miles or shld i just say, i dun even need royal miles anymore hahaha!

ooo...received an email from my dearest S, who is another yoga fanatic and way way way advanced than moi, and she is good i tell you. She is practising ashtanga and can do loads of poses which i can only envy. If only... one day. Come wat may!

wat have we got here. As speculated last year, that Tim 'make it work' Gunn will not be participating in the new series of project runway. Well, he will be back in the coming 4th series and also just confirmed that he will get his own show. Based on wat i read, the show sounds like the American version of Trinny & Susannah's What Not To Wear, and will be airing sometime this year i suppose in the US of A.

goodness...this week episode got more hmm...cheesier and i love it.

first thing first:

when she squeezed the lemon to the chicken marinade, she just loved the 'citrus rain'

when she cut the green gem lettuce; "i just love the lettuce squeaks as it yields against my knife"

highlight of the show, chessy level 10 out 10 but awesome!

she made welsh rabbit using toasted wholemeal muffin instead of toast, and while asking ppl like us to take care cos oven varies, and in her own words, "my oven is so hot, i come back with a sun tan" OMG!!!

and and and and oooo i started to wonder, towards the end of the show, when she started making the chocolate cake cos it sounded familiar and YES! moi made the honey bee chocolate cake before muahaha! for none other than Ms Sherry for her bday! U rmb them missy? i cant find the pic...damn!...can u pls email me them?
