famous rats...

To welcome the year of the Rat...i thought just like my previous famous piggies & bunnies, let me see how many famous animated rodents, that i can remember.

1. Mickey Mouse. Com'on, all kids and adults should know who mickey is? from 2D to 3D, from small to the big screen, from disneyland to disneysea....when u mention mickey, you got to give a shout out to minnie too. (pic)

2. Ariba ariba. this little devil runs like thunder- Speedy Gonzales

4. Jerry of Tom & Jerry. Is it a she or is it a he? or simply it? Jerry can be annoying sometimes and sometimes Thomas can be horrible.

5. Ratatoulie - this one i did not watch but heard it was funny.

6. Who moved my cheese?- the book. How many of you read it?

7. Mousetrap. no no not the actual trap to trap mice, but the play-which i vaguely remember seeing on the poster on west end. nope, i hv not seen it. well it had the word 'mouse'.

Short post

Wat's with the weather for the past weeks? one moment it was really hot, bright & sunny, next it poured like no tomorrow: the full she-bangs-rain, thunder, lighting, strong winds all in one.

Now my body had taken it's toll- shivering, cold, sweat, 'tight' throat. Damn! Nin Nia. Limpeh is under the weather. why? why? why?

seriously why? i eat well - maybe the odd fried stuffs like cempedak, banana, tumpi over the weekend, i drink well- loads of H2O, i poo well, i sleep ok and my duvet is thick & big enough to cover my big-boned sized body, so where did i go wrong?

i think it started on saturday-post demo cos the bloody 'studio' is ridiculously cold, but why only me? argh!!! then visited the 'freezing' cold ward 10 on sunday.

So now, Panadols, lemsips, strepsils and plenty of H2O are my breakfast, lunch, and dinner for now.

when i say customised, there are some pre-set themes (already lah) for you to choose, so u cant add ur fabulous face unfortunately, but you can add tabs or other 'convenient' link/stuffs on the search page.

famous piggies...

Guys & Dolls, 2 more days to go. YES!!! 2 more days. And to get into the mood of the festive, Bidarlah got a new facelift haha! RED RED RED! It's also time to set out the mahjong table, take out the 'ka tam ho lo', and most importantly take out your wallet, cos the PIG is coming. This then got me thinking of famous pigs, and i could only think of the followings:

Pig of all pig, mama of all mama: Miss Piggy. Who do not know her or it? With her sharp pitch voice and diva-ish atitude hmm. Give a chick, or in this case, pig a chance. (pic)

Porky Pig. Another classic pig. Is it him that say, "That's all folks!" I know it's Bug's "wat's up, doc?". Can anyone correct me if i'm wrong? I'm correct! Of all looney tunes characters, my favourite got to be Daffy Duck, fyi; dunno why? His insistence/arrogance and sometime stupidity i guess hahaha! and ooo...his voice. (pic)

who else? hmm...Babe. The pig from the movie of the same title. Ok i hv not watch Babe 1 nor Babe 2. Just wasnt interesting. Tat's all.

I think there is a pig character in Toy Story 1 & 2. Not sure wat's his name, but he is cool and found his very own mrs piggy in TS 2. haha.

Last on my list is Piglet. I got to admit i hv not watch or read any of the Winnie the Pooh story, dun know why either. But of all the character that i like most is Eeyore. Again, dunno why. maybe it's his pessimistic look.

CNY pressies...

This year a few of my suppliers have been very kind and generous to moi compared to last. So far, i received a huge hamper, a variety of chocolate in a box (on Valentine day as well), and vouchers - 3 digit figures to spend in SS. Yeah! I'm of course a happy 'pig' (no pun intended). Hopefully all these are not signs of bribing haha!ooo... and a box of taiwan super pongkam which i shared with everyone in the office. Luckily we have not done our annual shopping ritual for food & goodies in the supermarket, as it's always lastminute for us anyway; been telling mama to do it early but she was busy rolling and baking. So maybe 2mr we will be heading to SS to spend away, and most probably will go to HH too cos they do have more variety of CNY stuffs which we normally wouldn't eat ourselves but just to serve to visitors hahaha! Isn't tat was all this about?

color me good...

finally... yes! i had my hair highlighted. Most of you may think who cares or so wat; but to some of you, who know me for years, my crown had been au natural for years (i think since year 2000) as i told everyone i'm embracing my roots/origin ie. chinese. Dun ask me why suddenly today, actually after lunch, decided to color or highlight my hair. Maybe becos i felt it needed something, maybe some color just to define the hair texture. Maybe becos i had a bad hair day. (period)

But you know, everytime just before i go to the salon or when i am sitting on the salon chair, my hair just turned out fine. The shape & style just falls into the right place. Damn.

Anyhow, arrived the salon ard 5:30pm to consult further with my trusted stylist (she is brilliant), on which shades to go for, to color or to highlight, blah di blah. Trust! You have just got to trust your stylist, which i do, and after much blah di blah, the process of injecting color to my hair begun.

All in all, it took abt 3 hours to finish my hair. Yup! you heard it: 3 hours. It's all attention to details she said. She picked 'fine' sections and separate them before coloring and wrapping them in the aluminium foil, so the effect, according to her, will have a softer feel so the contrast between the colored & non-colored wont be that obvious and most importantly, won't appear like 'chunks'. She also avoided the 'hair parting' area and the very top layer around the crown area so that when my hair grows, it wont be that obvious, as everyone know that roots show the signs of growth. So my hair 'highlight' can last just a little longer. Fingercrossed!

The result: i'm one very happy customer. Despite not coloring here and there as i described which may sound like wat the hell, but the way she did it, everything blends in nicely.

Ooo...lastly, do not wash or put any chemical on your hair for at least 24 hours, so the dye can stay in your hair for that much longer. FACT! So i asked her not to put any products in my hair, but unfortunately i just got to apply some product 2mr morning for work. Well, i guessed 12 hours should be ok lah.

Speaking of work, agrhhhhhh...need to revise something again. wat's new?
