this somehow became a looong post.
finally i can breathe-ish.
so busy at work and at home.
so many stuffs i wanna say and blog but forgot what already.
so many things i wanna do but did not get round doing so.
so many designs i wanna explore but ended up on the drawing board.
so many movies i wanna see but did not.
work had been kerazzzy last week: deadlines, phone calls, confirmations, meetings, more changes, more adhoc meetings, more impromptu decisions to be made, thus no time to update. Not to say i have loads of readers like other bloggers. Like soon said,"Nothing wrong to hope!" Right?
enuf of rantings about work cos i know some of you guys & dolls will just scroll down to see pictures with your fingers. i know!
been shifting & moving stuffs around my home, mostly after work and over the weekend, so i'm a dead-fish by the end of it. Where got time and energy to blah di blah?
I tried to vent or talk on the phone with Z but be like...hmm hmm...bah...i watch tv first or you talk lah. Plus rather go out with colleagues and watch movies with them. Fine...Sometimes i do wonder.
I tried to watch tv but nothing much on, cos i watched most of the chinese series already-well, the nice ones lah, the bida one...i dun watch ok.

just finished watching 'The Silver Chambers of Sorrow'.
(pic)This is one of the series where you watched and felt like slapping a few of the characters. I
no joke!. The bitches really deserved them- their words & doings are so petty and all for oneself. Jw would agree.
I tried to go out too but dunno where, what, who? There is so much coffee one can drinks. Am i such a boring person? maybe i am.
Last night being a (trying to be) good son brought my papa out for a meal at
She-
ra's in
town to celebrate
what else? papa's day loh. The place was packed and thank God i booked in advance.
Saw a couple of familiar faces-you know those u
nod ur head and smile acquaintances, and those
hi-how are u-never contact friends. Even managed to chat with one of my childhood BFF whom we lost contact with but saw each other across the room and too shy to speak.
Found out his newborn's name. (
cp: you know who i'm talking about- the one u wanted to bring me to visit but did not get round doing so)
ooo, even saw a blogger with his family.
clue: one of the berrys.
How was the food?one word:
NOT WORTH IT. (ok! it's 3 words) cos i wanted to say crap but its not true cos it's still edible and i did enjoy some of the food.
So did not even bother to take picture tho it did cross my mind and showing how bad the food were. so if the

Only or PR of the hotel/restaurant read this: Wat the eff you guys did to the mains?
the starters was quite a spread and i think tat was the only good 'spread' for the night.
the mains was
disgraceful. It's international buffet and they have like only 6 dishes: fried rice, fried kway teow, fried prawn, mixed veggies, cauliflower and slices of beef (which i must say, Doc's homecooked ones are muchhhh better). ooo dun forget the roast lamb. (yeah! like it's all that, cos it's not!) tell me how international?
if i want fried kway teow, i know where to eat? if i want fried rice, my mama cooks better. And to make it worse, they both tasted below average and cold.
Such a BIG disappointment. So wat everyone did? Queued up for the pasta; as it was cooked to your preference and served hot.
As for desserts,
ok! i got to admit, they did have quite a selection. Only thing is their famous chocolate mousse cake failed to impress anyone, even for me.
Why? It's bloody soft. When u lift it up and drop it to your plate, it ends up mushy. To make matter worse, the whole cake on the tray...after an hour, look like shit cos it fell flat. Such a biiig let down.
ooo...my bros & papa tried their teppanyaki icecream and the queue was loooong.
wat's the hoohah abt it?basically u get to pick your toppings and choice of icecream, then mr. icecream man will mix them like rojak for you. that's all. i tot wat? eh...and it's too sweet for my liking.
anyway...
enuf of that.
As i was home for most of the weekend, i watched the pianist! yes! not the penis, the Pianist. the one which won 3 oscars incl best actor and it was recommended by Z.
warning: over 2 hours long but good.
talk about survival? my God! How can one survive in such a racist environment, let alone survive through the war? I must say, the story is really good and u feel for the people.
(pci)
However, the actor reminded me of a squashed up Ross Gellar, but his acting is good. So deserved the bold man statue. Its a powerful and sad movie to say the least, so check it out. ooo...its a real story too.

praise to all the actors in the movie and the director.
(pci)
the real Szpilman...
(pci)ooo...i finally received my tees i got my dearest Sherry to get for moi in the US of A. Thank You SOOOO much. I will post that later and can't wait to wear them out, cos i & Z could well be the only ones who got them here muahahaha! jealous...and once again, thank you for getting them for us and dun tell me how much.
ps. GOTW will be back (finger-crossing) this Thursday as 'usual'.
pps. Z said Maid of Honour is
so-so only. I want to watch
Hulk-dun ask me why? i did not even watch the previous Eric Bana's version.
ooo yes! i finally had my hair cut. This new hairstylist can really
talk give you ideas on your hairstyle. I think we 'chatted' for like a good 20 mins before decided which direction to go: A. a nice neat trim but with an 'edgy' touch yet easy to maintain or B. short fringe, closely cut sides or something to frame my face and side, with some length at the back. Not a mullet! in case you starts to begin. I can't even begin to visualise.
Though i was tempted for the latter but i just couldnt.
why? i
paiseh lah, and later go meeting with that hair.
hehe! if i'm a student and maybe a bit braver, i might. No confident
bah.
Though i said i chose A, she cut for almost an hour and abit more. she really took her time (i'm not complaining cos she did a great job) I tell you, if i dozed off-sure wake up with something else. haha...with a fringe.
We chatted on quite a bit: hair related, food related, travel related, family related, durians related, work related. It's nice to be able to chat and feel comfortable with your hairstylist. Dun get me wrong, she is not the talkactive type...u know the one that
on and on and on. There is a fine line between friendly and in your face
kapoh. Or worse, i've been to a few who
were like spoken only like 3 or 4 lines.
ppps. get well soon Jw.
