under the spotlight...

yes...the much looong awaited post...which most of you been waiting for....emails, texts and in my face-where when where?

to be honest, i dont know where to start ...and at first, i tot i shall post it on 27.02, then everyone predicted i would do so. Am i that predictable? hmm...

yes...wat some of us got up to on V-day?

this might be a long post...be warned but i will keep it light!...

well...we went to a hmm...local restoran which is perfect...why? the setting is niceee, however i got to say, the sound system was a let-down. ok, initially i opted for a quiet sit-down japanese affair dinner but then luckily even i found this place last minute and a quick text to everyone for the change of venue.

theme: under the spotlight.

everyone had to bring their favorite or most outrageous pair of sunnies for some cam-whoring sessions. ok ok! i tried to make everyone to eat while wearing their sunnies but hmm...it's too dark lah haha...i wonder how Wong Kar Wai does it.

food was aplenty (phew), i was worried: it might be cold or too little. Thank God! it's enuf to feed 10 more people.
nah nah...our camwhoring sessions...enjoy...

It was only a small dinner to celebrate my hmm...advanced bday. So what's better than call up a few close friends to join me to celebrate on the overrated day itself.

Yes...it was only a small dinner do compared to last year, no costume or strict attire required this time haha...just bring ur sunnies! see..see all the sunnies on the table!

of course...after chowing all the food & sipping the drinks, it was time for some out of tune singing from moi and some good karaoke from the others. dun play play hor, cos the karaoke system will rate you after each song.

some sang and some did wat they do best...posed and danced lah...wat else.

ooo...got to mention that Z specially arranged a durian cake for me as a 'dessert'. thank you!

however, it's a bit too sweet and the sponge layer is slightly dry. *cough cough* haha...but having said that, i think i ate the most...cos it's simply durian...*hehe

followed by more more dancing and singing...mandarin, cantonese, malay, english...

Then Z surprised me with my birthday (cup)cakes. OMG!

aren't they lovely?

i was gobsmacked when i saw it.

sunnies box from J. yes...a DIY/scrapped sunnies box to store all my treasures.
psst: can do extension ka? or can do another one...hehe...cos full oledi leh...haha...i put 2 in one slot oledi leh...

omg!!!! a chocolate fondue set from Z. another surprise for the night! i've been wanting one of these for years and been looking for me but did not expect Z to get it for me... (tears)

and last but not least, another gift from Z (another bloody surprise)...so did not expect it man.
the yummy red luggage. see see...it's soooo red u can not miss me next time ok! haha!
